What you share is your choice.

Privacy & safety

What you share is your choice.

Control which parts of your active life you share with your community.

Your privacy matters

At Strava, we’re committed to providing meaningful choices about how and what kind of personal information you share. As a Verified athlete your profile is public, but you can choose which activities to make private, how much of your map you want to share, whether to hide your activity start time, and more.

As someone who loves to share their life but stay safe, I appreciate how I can choose what to share whether that's the full route, hiding start and finish points when running from friends’ or family’s homes, or keeping it completely private.
